St. Clair County Community Garden
at 8th Street and Griswold, Port Huron
The 72nd District Court for St. Clair County has initiated a collaborative effort
with Acheson Ventures, Michigan State University Extension, St. Clair County Community
College’s Horticulture Department and Mid-City Nutrition to develop a community
garden. Community service workers sentenced out of the District Court will provide
the labor for maintaining the garden at 8th street and Griswold.
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help as well, please sign up on this calendar by filling
in your name and time you are available on Wednesdays we need help from 8 am to
Noon and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Many hands make the work go smoother
as well as bring you the satisfaction of being part of this community effort. Thank
you for volunteering, see you in the garden.
